Laos is officially known as Lao People’s Democratic Republic (Lao PDR), is a landlocked country in Southeast Asia, bordered by Burma and China to the northwest, Vietnam to the east, Cambodia to the south, and Thailand to the west. Laos is a landlocked, remote and a mountainous country, widely covered by unspoiled tropical forests. However, Laos is a beautiful ancient country, there are many Buddhist temples around its country and it still has much of the nice ancient tradition that has sadly disappeared elsewhere in this country.
